ICAPE Group Acquires MON PRINT

ICAPE Holding (ICAPE Group) has acquired 100% of MON PRINT, a Danish supplier of printed circuit board (PCB) solutions founded in 1965. The acquisition (purchase price €0.7 million) expands ICAPE’s presence in Denmark and Northern Europe and will integrate MON PRINT into the ICAPE Group platform to broaden services and geographic proximity to industrial customers.

ICAPE Group Acquires ALR Services Ltd.

The ICAPE Group has acquired 100% of ALR Services Ltd., a UK-based printed circuit board (PCB) distributor. The acquisition gives ICAPE a direct footprint in the United Kingdom, adds a portfolio of ~300 EMS and OEM customers and expected 2024 revenue of ~£2.5m; the deal was financed in cash and will be consolidated from January 1, 2025.

ICAPE Group Acquires Operating Assets of PCB Solutions, Ustek Incorporated and Nujay Technologies

ICAPE Group has acquired the operating assets of three U.S.-based PCB-trading companies — PCB Solutions, Ustek Incorporated and Nujay Technologies Inc. The asset purchases (100% cash) add over 180 North American customers across medical, automotive and other industrial end markets and will be integrated into ICAPE USA and CIPEM USA to strengthen the Group’s U.S. footprint and local distribution channels.

Supercap (Crealis) Acquires Three Portuguese Closure Manufacturers

Supercap S.r.l., part of the Crealis group, has agreed to acquire 100% of three family-owned Portuguese closure manufacturers — Woodcap-Indústria de Cápsulas de Madeira, Manuel Firinho & Filhos, and Jesus Couto & Pereira — all based in Santa Maria de Feira (near Porto). The acquisitions create a new industrial hub in Portugal, add natural cork and wood capsule products to Crealis's BarTop offering, and are intended to expand the group's product range and export footprint.

Lifco Acquires Cardel Group from LDC

Lifco has signed an agreement to acquire a majority of the shares in Cardel Group Ltd from private equity investor LDC. Cardel is a Hertfordshire-headquartered manufacturer of lamination plates and specialist components for ID documents, payment cards and PCBs (74 employees; ~GBP 16.5m net sales in 2023); Lifco will consolidate the business into its Systems Solutions area to support further global expansion and product and application development.
