ICG Acquires Majority Stake in Lomond; LDC and Management Reinvest

The deal adds more than 1,450 homes to Linley & Simpson’s lettings portfolio — taking it to about 8,000 properties across 16 branches — and is the firm’s largest acquisition since LDC’s 2018 investment as part of a buy-and-build growth strategy.

Lomond Group Acquires DJ Alexander; LDC Supports Deal

The add-on expands Lomond's managed portfolio (now ~9,500 properties in Scotland and 30,000 across the UK) and brings DJ Alexander's ~104 employees into the group as Lomond continues its buy-and-build consolidation of regional estate agents.

Linley & Simpson Acquires Lettings Books of Inghams and Henleys Property Group

LDC-backed Linley & Simpson has acquired the lettings book of Inghams and completed a deal with Henleys Property Group, expanding its Yorkshire footprint and opening a new office in Bingley. The add-ons increase the agency's rental portfolio by almost 400 properties (taking it past 9,000) and include the transfer of staff from both businesses; terms were undisclosed.
