Advanced Energy Industries, Inc. acquired Airity Technologies, a Redwood City, California provider of GaN-based high-voltage power conversion products and pulsing technologies. The acquisition adds Gallium Nitride (GaN) power conversion capabilities to Advanced Energy's precision power portfolio, enabling higher power density and faster response for semiconductor, industrial and medical applications; terms were not disclosed.
