Court Square Capital Partners has acquired a majority interest in Chauvet & Sons, LLC from an affiliate of Cortec Group (Cortec Group Fund VI, L.P.), with Cortec and management remaining minority shareholders. Chauvet, headquartered in Davie, Florida and led by founder and CEO Albert Chauvet, is a global designer and manufacturer of entertainment, theatrical and broadcast lighting products; terms were not disclosed.
