ROMCO Equipment Co., a division of SMT, has acquired Sierra Machinery Inc., a full-service distributor of construction, mining, and industrial equipment with two locations in El Paso, Texas and Artesia, New Mexico. The acquisition (closed July 25, 2023) expands ROMCO/SMT’s footprint in the U.S. Southwest and preserves Sierra’s leadership and local operations under continuing management.

S. & T. Group Acquires Ramco Electric Ltd.

SERMA Group Acquires Texas-based MICROTECH LABORATORIES

Equipment Controls Company (ECCO), a Norcross, Georgia-based distributor of natural gas measurement and control products, acquired Tri-State Meter and Regulator Service, Inc., a Memphis, Tennessee-based distribution and service center for natural gas and liquid management products, effective June 28, 2024. The acquisition expands ECCO's geographic reach and field-service capabilities, allowing the combined business to offer broader product distribution, installation, testing and leak-survey services to natural gas utilities, transmission companies, and commercial and industrial customers.

H.I.G. Capital Acquires SMTC Corporation
