Prototek Acquires Sac EDM & Waterjet

Prototek Holdings LLC completed the acquisition of Sacramento EDM, Inc. (Sac EDM & Waterjet), adding two Rancho Cordova, California facilities (26,000 sq. ft.) and expanded CNC, waterjet and EDM capabilities. The deal expands Prototek's digital manufacturing platform and West Coast footprint; Sac EDM's President Dan Folk will join Prototek as Vice President of Wire EDM and Waterjet Cutting. Prototek is backed by private equity firm TruArc Partners.
