Briggs & Stratton Acquires SimpliPhi Power

Briggs & Stratton has acquired SimpliPhi Power, an Oxnard, California-based designer and manufacturer of lithium ferro phosphate (LFP) energy storage and management systems. The acquisition expands Briggs & Stratton's product portfolio into the fast-growing energy storage systems market and will leverage Briggs & Stratton's distribution network to accelerate SimpliPhi's growth across residential, commercial and industrial end markets.
