The acquisition expands Ziyad's product portfolio and geographic reach; Vintage President Levent Demirgil will join Ziyad to continue leading the Vintage business unit.

Legacy Food Group Adds Halsey Foodservice as Operating Division

Legacy Food Group announced that Halsey Foodservice, a fourth-generation broadline foodservice distributor based in Madison, Alabama, will join LFG as its fifth operating division. Halsey will retain its name and management, with leadership taking an equity stake in Legacy Food Group and the business gaining access to LFG's purchasing, supplier relationships and coordinated sales and marketing resources to expand in the Southeast.

Prospect Hill and KeyImpact Form Acxion Foodservice by Acquiring Advantage Solutions' Foodservice Businesses

Prospect Hill Growth Partners has acquired Advantage Solutions' collection of foodservice businesses (including Waypoint, Marlin Connections, Primeline, CSSI, Ettros/Ettinger-Rosini, Halverson Group and Coleman, Greear & Associates) and combined them with KeyImpact Sales & Systems to form Acxion Foodservice. Advantage received approximately $100 million in proceeds (mostly cash plus a 7.5% ongoing stake) and will retain a board seat; the deal creates a larger North American foodservice sales and marketing agency while allowing Advantage to focus on its core retail business.

The deal integrates Kafoodle's menu and nutrition capabilities into 365's product portfolio and expands 365's reach in the United Kingdom and broader European markets.
