Metro Supply Chain Acquires SCI Group

Metro Supply Chain Inc. has entered into an agreement to acquire SCI Group Inc. from Canada Post Corporation and Purolator Holdings Ltd., strengthening Metro's position as a leading North American strategic contract logistics provider. The acquisition adds new verticals and capabilities (including expanded e-commerce and sector coverage) to Metro's offering, and SCI's CEO Chris Galindo will remain with the combined entity.
