Resend has acquired Mergent, a serverless background job scheduling service, and the Mergent team will join Resend to improve uptime, scalability, and developer experience. Resend will support existing Mergent customers for 90 days and plans to sunset the Mergent product on July 28, 2025 as it integrates Mergent’s capabilities into its platform.

Resilience Acquires BreachQuest

Resilience has acquired BreachQuest, a Dallas-based incident response technology provider, to strengthen its incident response and forensics capabilities against Business Email Compromise (BEC) and other cyber threats. The integration will embed BreachQuest's cloud-office forensics and automation tools into Resilience's claim and incident management offerings to accelerate response times and reduce incident costs for clients.

JumpCloud Acquires Breez

Cycode Acquires Bearer

Application security platform Cycode has acquired Bearer, a SAST startup that also provides API discovery and data-leak protection, to integrate Bearer’s AI-powered static analysis and remediation capabilities into its Application Security Posture Management (ASPM) platform. Financial terms were not disclosed; Cycode will migrate Bearer customers onto its platform over time and use Bearer’s engine and AI assistant to deepen scanning, precision, and remediation workflows.

eSentire Acquires CyFIR

eSentire has acquired CyFIR, a Washington, D.C.-based digital forensics and investigative tooling firm, to expand its incident response and digital forensics capabilities. The acquisition will integrate CyFIR's tools into eSentire's Cyber Investigations Portfolio and establish CyFIR's D.C. office as eSentire's second U.S. Technical Center of Excellence.
