Godspeed Capital Management LP has partnered with Special Aerospace Services (SAS) to establish a new platform focused on space engineering, hypersonics, and missile defense technologies. The platform, which will operate under the SAS brand and be led by CEO Heather Bulk and CFO Warren Kohm, brings ~250 cleared engineers and a mix of prime contracts serving U.S. defense/intelligence agencies and commercial space customers.

The deal — which closed October 24, 2024 — strengthens SAS's hypersonics and missile defense capabilities and expands its national security space engineering and mission-support offerings.

(ESS), a Linthicum Heights, Maryland-based provider of cybersecurity, software and systems engineering solutions to the U.S. Intelligence Community and Department of Defense. ESS will join Godspeed's newly formed cyber and technology solutions platform to expand capabilities, invest in technology and scale services for mission-oriented federal agencies; financial terms were not disclosed.

Savli — founded in 1996 and employing more than 20 cleared professionals — will join Godspeed's existing portfolio companies (Varen Technologies and Exceptional Software Strategies) to expand the platform's mission-focused ServiceNow and IT capabilities.
