The Sterling Group has acquired Arizona-headquartered Pavement Preservation Group, Inc. (PPGI) and Kansas City-based Vance Brothers, LLC to create Pavement Preservation Group (PPG), a new national platform focused on pavement preservation and asphalt maintenance. Darin Matson, a long-time pavement sector executive and former CEO of Rogers Group, was named CEO to lead the platform as Sterling pursues a buy-and-build expansion across the central and southwestern United States.

Product Recovery Management, Inc. (PRM) acquired Clean Globe Environmental, LLC (CGE), an environmental contracting firm based in Brentwood, Long Island, effective January 2, 2026. The deal establishes the CGE Division of PRM, expanding PRM's physical footprint in the Northeastern United States and broadening its environmental remediation and geophysical services capabilities; Tony Fiorentine will continue as General Manager.

US LBM Acquires Manning Building Supplies

Manning, which operates nine locations and two truss plants, will continue to be led day-to-day by Jimmy Cissel and Steve Wiechens; the JIAN Group acted as financial advisor to Manning.

The acquisition is an add-on to IBMG's plumbing and heating division and extends the group's specialist offering into Wales and the South West while securing succession for Dougfield's management.

The acquisition expands IBMG's specialist roofing division westward, adding geographic presence and product range while Roofing Gear will continue to trade under its existing name with founder Jeremy Gear remaining involved.
