Waste Pro USA, Inc. completed 24 strategic acquisitions across its 12-state southeastern footprint, investing approximately $170 million to add roughly $91 million in annual revenue. The transactions expand Waste Pro's residential, commercial and industrial hauling, landfill operations, portable toilets, and recycling processing capabilities across Alabama, Florida, Georgia, Louisiana, Mississippi, North Carolina and Tennessee.

Macquarie Asset Management Recapitalizes Coastal Waste & Recycling

A fund managed by Macquarie Asset Management has completed the recapitalization of Coastal Waste & Recycling and become the company's majority owner. Coastal, a vertically integrated solid waste and recycling operator headquartered in Boca Raton, Florida, will continue to be led by CEO Brendon Pantano while prior investors Summer Street Capital Partners and Concentric Equity Partners exit and retain a minority stake alongside management.

Capital Waste Services Acquires May River Disposal

Capital Waste Services, a portfolio company of Kinderhook Industries, acquired May River Disposal, a residential waste management company based in Bluffton, South Carolina with over 5,800 customers. The deal — Capital Waste's fourth add-on acquisition — will expand the platform's footprint into the Bluffton/Hilton Head/Beaufort area, add commercial and roll-off capabilities, and was financed by Comerica Bank; May River founders Jim Lewis and Rob Scott will remain equity owners.

Superior USA Waste Acquires Central Disposal

Superior Waste Industries, d/b/a Superior USA Waste, a Shawnee, Oklahoma-based environmental services holding company, acquired Central Disposal, a solid waste management company headquartered in Shawnee, OK. The transaction was backed by private equity partner Red Dog Equity LLC (with financing support from Monroe Capital and available capital from The Pritzker Organization), and the founding Adcock family made a significant investment and will continue operating the business.

Waste Eliminator Acquires Oconee Resources LLC

LRS Acquires Michiana Recycling & Disposal and Modern Waste Systems

The transactions add three transfer facilities, a dense collection base across Michigan and Indiana, and more than 200 combined employees, expanding LRS's footprint in the region.
