Industrial Service Solutions (ISS), a Houston-based industrial services provider, has acquired full ownership of Rotating Mechanical Solutions Corporation (RMSC), a Colorado-headquartered specialist in maintenance, repair and overhaul of large-scale rotating equipment. The acquisition expands ISS’s on-site preventive and predictive maintenance, testing and diagnostics, and motor/compressor sales and service capabilities across the western United States as an add‑on to ISS’s field service platform.

Tech24 Acquires RMS Mechanical Services

Tech24, a national provider of foodservice and commercial HVAC repair backed by HCI Equity Partners, acquired RMS Mechanical Services of Ambridge, Pennsylvania on December 3, 2021. The acquisition is Tech24’s seventh add‑on and expands its presence and customer base in the greater Pittsburgh foodservice repair and maintenance market; financial terms were not disclosed.

New State Capital Partners Acquires Universal Plant Services' Rotating Equipment Segment

New State Capital Partners, with partner APEX Capital Partners, acquired the rotating equipment segment of Universal Plant Services from Jones Industrial Holdings. The rotating segment will continue to operate under the Universal Plant Services brand and remain headquartered in Deer Park, Texas, with current management remaining in place. New State said the business will serve as an anchor investment for a broader industrial aftermarket platform while JIH retains the non-rotating, instrument & electrical, and manufacturing installation segments.

The acquisition closed July 21, 2022; Hidden Harbor will partner with management to pursue growth and expand MSC&RPM's footprint in municipal, industrial and transportation end markets.

Arcline Investment Management, a growth-oriented private equity firm, has signed a definitive agreement to acquire Hartzell Aviation from Tailwind Technologies. Hartzell, headquartered in Piqua, Ohio, designs and manufactures aircraft propellers and engine accessories through its Hartzell Propeller and Hartzell Engine Tech business units; Arcline said the acquisition fits its strategy of investing in critical suppliers and will support the company's next phase of growth.
