Commify, the PE-backed global messaging platform, has acquired Chattanooga-based Text Request to strengthen its U.S. presence. Backed by ECI Partners, the add-on deal brings a fast-growing SaaS business with ~40 employees, ~7,500 customers and nearly $15m ARR into Commify’s portfolio while keeping operations in Chattanooga.

Commify Acquires SMSFactor

Commify, backed by ECI Partners, has acquired Nice-based SMSFactor to strengthen its presence in the French local-enterprise messaging market. SMSFactor (founded 2010) serves c.3,500 customers and has grown to around €6 million revenue, providing complementary SMS and local service capabilities that Commify will combine with its global product set.

Communify Acquires Empaxis Data Management

The deal is intended to remove data fragmentation for wealth and asset managers, enabling faster AI-driven client and portfolio insights by unifying custody and accounting data within Communify’s Knowledge Base.

ECI Partners Acquires Majority Stake in Croud

ECI Partners has invested in CIPHR, a UK-based provider of SaaS HCM (HR, payroll, recruitment and learning) software, as LDC exits its four-year investment. CIPHR, headquartered in Reading and supporting c.300,000 employees across customers globally, will use the new partnership to accelerate product development, organic growth and M&A activity.
