ECI Partners has agreed to acquire Commify, the UK-headquartered business messaging platform, in a deal valued at €300 million that provides a full realisation for Hg. The investment will support Commify’s continued organic growth, further acquisitive expansion across existing and new countries, and accelerated platform and product development.

Commify Acquires Text Request to Accelerate U.S. Expansion

Backed by ECI Partners, the add-on deal brings a fast-growing SaaS business with ~40 employees, ~7,500 customers and nearly $15m ARR into Commify’s portfolio while keeping operations in Chattanooga.

Viamedia Acquires LocalFactor

Viamedia has acquired LocalFactor, a Westport, Connecticut-based tech-enabled digital advertising company, to integrate LocalFactor's programmatic and geo-targeting capabilities with Viamedia's linear TV and digital ad infrastructure. LocalFactor founder and CEO Evan Rutchik will join Viamedia as President & Chief Strategy Officer and LocalFactor will operate as a division of Viamedia to strengthen digital ad operations, sales monetization, and privacy-compliant audience targeting.

Yotpo Acquires SMSBump

VoiceSage Acquires 2sms to Expand U.S. Presence

Dublin-based cloud communications provider VoiceSage has acquired Texas-based mobile messaging company 2sms to strengthen its presence in the U.S. market and expand its customer base. The deal brings 2sms's customers in financial services, education and retail into VoiceSage's platform and increases VoiceSage's global scale in conversational messaging and CPaaS offerings.

Constant Contact Acquires Txtify Technologies' Business

Constant Contact has acquired the business of Txtify Technologies to add mobile-first lead generation microsites and survey capabilities to its marketing platform. The acquisition expands Constant Contact's ability to help small businesses convert social media engagement into owned contacts and revenue; Txtify co-founders John Stewart and Eric Dewhirst will join Constant Contact to lead integration of the technology.
