ECI Partners has agreed to acquire Commify, the UK-headquartered business messaging platform, in a deal valued at €300 million that provides a full realisation for Hg. The investment will support Commify’s continued organic growth, further acquisitive expansion across existing and new countries, and accelerated platform and product development.

Commify Acquires SMSFactor

Commify, backed by ECI Partners, has acquired Nice-based SMSFactor to strengthen its presence in the French local-enterprise messaging market. SMSFactor (founded 2010) serves c.3,500 customers and has grown to around €6 million revenue, providing complementary SMS and local service capabilities that Commify will combine with its global product set.

Automattic Acquires Texts.com

Automattic has acquired Texts.com, a desktop-first messaging app that consolidates conversations from platforms like iMessage, WhatsApp, Telegram, Signal, LinkedIn, Slack and Discord into a single, encrypted inbox. The acquisition expands Automattic’s consumer product portfolio into messaging and adds AI features (message summarization, drafting, translation) while the Texts.com team works on a mobile rollout.

Constant Contact Acquires Txtify Technologies' Business

thinQ Acquires teli and Rebrands Combined Business as Commio

Capacity Acquires Textel
