SmartCover Systems, a portfolio company of XPV Water Partners, has completed the acquisition of Data Flow Systems, a Melbourne, Florida provider of lift station monitoring, control and optimization solutions. The deal expands SmartCover's collection system optimization capabilities to include lift station control, creating a combined business with more than 20,000 deployed devices and service to over 850 North American customers.

The deal (announced January 8, 2021) expands Badger Meter's water quality product portfolio—complementing its recent s::can acquisition—and broadens its capabilities for municipal and industrial water monitoring.
