Kajeet has launched a private LTE networks practice and acquired the LTE portion of Red Rover Ltd.'s broadband network design business. The deal brings Red Rover president Steve Rovarino to Kajeet as senior business development manager and expands Kajeet's capabilities in private 4G/5G and CBRS/EBS deployments for education, municipalities and enterprise customers.

Rain Bird Corporation has acquired Rachio, Inc., a Denver-based maker of cloud-connected smart irrigation controllers and related smart-home irrigation products. Rachio will operate as a wholly owned subsidiary led by CEO and co-founder Chris Klein, combining Rain Bird's irrigation manufacturing scale with Rachio's connected-home technology to expand sustainable irrigation and smart-product offerings.

Meta Acquires AI Wearables Startup Limitless

Limitless will stop selling new devices, support existing customers for one year (moving them to a free Unlimited Plan), and the Limitless team will join Meta’s Reality Labs to help accelerate AI-enabled wearables development.

Banyan Software Acquires RinkNet

RinkNet—used by all 32 NHL teams and hundreds of amateur teams—will continue under founder Jim Price, who will remain with the business as Banyan invests to grow the platform for its customers.
