Roofing Corp of America (RCA), an Atlanta-based roofing holding company backed by Soundcore Capital Partners, has acquired Front Range Roofing Systems (FRRS), a commercial and industrial roofing contractor based in Greeley, Colorado. The deal gives RCA its first sizable foothold in the Mountain West (Colorado and southern Wyoming); FRRS's ownership team will remain in place and the company will operate as a stand-alone within RCA.

Wedgewood Pharmacy Acquires Front Range Laboratories

Wedgewood Pharmacy acquired Front Range Laboratories (FRL), a Loveland, Colorado-based testing laboratory that provides analytical and microbiological testing to compounding pharmacies. The acquisition, which closed on February 23 (terms undisclosed), brings in FRL's founders Michael and Jennifer Travis to remain with the business and allows Wedgewood to shorten testing turnaround times, better control costs, and increase testing capacity to support growing demand in animal health.

Frontgrade Technologies Acquires Aethercomm

Frontgrade Technologies, a portfolio company of Veritas Capital, has completed the acquisition of Aethercomm, a designer and manufacturer of high-power RF solid state power amplifiers and RF switches. Aethercomm will operate as a division rebranded Frontgrade Aethercomm, with founder Todd Thornton and the management team remaining and Thornton serving as General Manager; the deal expands Frontgrade's RF and antenna capabilities for aerospace and defense customers.
