Mission Critical Group (MCG) has acquired Point Eight Power, a Louisiana-based manufacturer of switchgear and power control building solutions with production facilities in Belle Chasse, Louisiana and Bay St. Louis, Mississippi. The deal expands MCG’s manufacturing and power-control capabilities to better serve mission-critical end markets (data centers, communications, industrial and healthcare) and appoints Carlis Gross as President of Point Eight Power.

Golden Gate Capital to Acquire Majority Stake in DMC Power from Bridgepoint

Golden Gate Capital has entered into a definitive agreement to acquire a majority equity stake in DMC Power from Bridgepoint; financial terms were not disclosed. DMC Power, a designer and manufacturer of proprietary high-voltage connector systems with manufacturing sites in Carson, California and Olive Branch, Mississippi and a team of over 200 employees, will continue to be led by CEO Tony Ward who remains a significant shareholder.

Accudynamics Acquires DCG Precision Manufacturing

The acquisition expands Accudynamics' precision machining capabilities—particularly Swiss machining and grinding—and adds capacity to serve aerospace, defense, medical, and other industrial customers while retaining DCG's existing employees and management.
