Capital’s portfolio company Avanta Salud Integral (“Avanta”) has signed a definitive agreement to acquire Vitaly Group (“Vitaly”), a leading occupational health and safety (OHS) services provider in Iberia. The combined group is expected to serve more than 240,000 clients and cover approximately 4 million protected workers across 505 centers, with Vitaly’s advanced AI capabilities supporting integration and international expansion.

Vivo Infusion Acquires Specialty Infusion

The deal expands Vivo's footprint to a combined 55 ambulatory infusion centers across ten states; financial terms were not disclosed.

MediPharm Labs Corp. Acquires VIVO Cannabis Inc.

Effective April 1, 2023, MediPharm Labs Corp. completed an all-equity arrangement to acquire all outstanding shares of VIVO Cannabis Inc., making VIVO a wholly-owned subsidiary. Under the arrangement, former VIVO shareholders received 0.2910 MediPharm common shares per VIVO share and MediPharm issued approximately 107,930,964 shares as consideration; VIVO shares are expected to be delisted from the Toronto Stock Exchange.

ACON Investments’ Latin America Opportunities Fund V completed the acquisition of Vitalis Group, a manufacturer and wholesaler of generic injectable pharmaceuticals with production facilities in Colombia and Mexico. The Fund invested alongside select limited partners (DEG, FMO and Proparco) to support Vitalis’ regional expansion and cross-selling of its broad product portfolio across Latin America.
