MedRisk Acquires Select Provider Networks (SPNet)

MedRisk, a Pennsylvania-based managed care organization focused on physical rehabilitation for injured workers, has acquired Select Provider Networks, Inc. (SPNet) from Select Medical. SPNet will retain its name and leadership and operate independently as MedRisk looks to leverage its resources and technologies to strengthen SPNet's boutique specialty network for the workers' compensation industry; terms were not disclosed.
