NeuroFlow Acquires Owl

NeuroFlow, a Philadelphia-based behavioral health technology provider, has acquired Owl, a measurement-based care company, to create an expanded end-to-end behavioral health measurement and engagement platform. The deal extends NeuroFlow's capabilities into outpatient behavioral health provider organizations and combines both firms' assessment, analytics and AI capabilities to support payers, providers and government customers across all 50 states.

Marlin and Altor (via MW Investment B.V.) Take Meltwater Private

MW Investment B.V., an acquisition vehicle jointly controlled by Marlin Equity Partners and Altor Equity Partners, completed a take‑private acquisition of Meltwater on August 9, 2023. Shareholders were offered NOK 18.00 (cash, Offeror shares, or combination); Meltwater was delisted from the Oslo Stock Exchange and will operate under majority ownership of Marlin and Altor to drive product investment, sales growth and strategic M&A.

Meltwater Acquires DeepReason.ai

Meltwater B.V. has acquired Oxford University spin-out DeepReason.ai for $7.3 million in cash and Meltwater equity (including milestone/retention-based earn-outs). The acquisition brings DeepReason.ai's knowledge-graph reasoning technology and its team (five full-time and four part-time employees) into Meltwater to accelerate expansion of Meltwater's knowledge graph and AI-driven insights capabilities.
