Eusider Group Acquires Profiltubi S.p.A. from AUCTUS

Eusider Group has acquired the Profiltubi Group (including O.M.V. Ventura) from private equity investor AUCTUS. Profiltubi, an Italian manufacturer of electrically welded carbon steel pipes with consolidated revenue above €100 million, will join Eusider’s steel service and manufacturing platform to support further growth and market leadership.

Metra S.p.A. Acquires Extruded Aluminum Corporation (EAC)

Metra S.p.A., a portfolio company of KPS Capital Partners, completed the acquisition of Extruded Aluminum Corporation (EAC), a U.S. manufacturer of custom extruded aluminum profiles and value‑added fabrication, assembly and finishing services. EAC operates two facilities in Belding and Kentwood, Michigan with approximately 170 employees; the deal advances Metra's North American expansion and end‑market diversification, including entry into utility‑grade solar.

Wabtec Corporation Acquires Super Metal

Wabtec Corporation signed a definitive agreement to acquire Super Metal, a Brazilian supplier of automated vehicles and railway maintenance equipment solutions. Wabtec said the acquisition complements its Nordco acquisition and is intended to expand its railway maintenance-of-way portfolio and accelerate international growth, particularly in Latin America, Asia, and Africa.

ARCH Precision Components Acquires Metalcraft Technologies

ARCH Precision Components, a Madison Dearborn Partners portfolio company, has acquired Metalcraft Technologies Inv., LLC (MTI) of Cedar City, Utah as an add-on to expand ARCH's aerospace and defense manufacturing footprint. MTI, a 30+-year sheet metal fabrication and aircraft-components manufacturer operating roughly 150,000 sq. ft. across two facilities, brings additional sheet-metal fabrication, machining and surface-treatment capabilities to the ARCH platform.

KPS Capital Partners Acquires Metra and Profile Custom Extrusions

Chicago-based UPG Enterprises LLC acquired Metalex, LLC — a North American manufacturer of perforated products, expanded metal, safety grating and related rail products — including its Morton Rail Products division. The deal adds product capabilities, two advanced facilities (including a site in San Luis Potosí, Mexico) and is intended to expand UPG's vertical integration, market access and manufacturing footprint.
