MN8 Energy Holdings to Acquire Greenbacker Renewable Energy Company in Up to $375 Million Deal

MN8 Energy Holdings LLC has entered into a definitive cash-and-equity merger agreement to acquire Greenbacker Renewable Energy Company LLC for up to approximately $375 million. The combination will create a national clean power platform with over 6 GW across 33 U.S. states and add Greenbacker’s wind and storage portfolio to MN8’s solar and battery assets.
