MultiPlan Corporation acquired Benefits Science LLC (BST), a Boston-based healthcare data and advanced analytics SaaS provider, for $160 million in a deal combining cash and MultiPlan stock. The acquisition launches MultiPlan's new Data & Decision Science service line, integrating BST's machine learning/AI analytics and SaaS platform with MultiPlan's claims data to expand capabilities across employers, commercial and government health plans.
