Horizon Acquires Consolidated Cooperative's Commercial Fiber Business

Horizon, a Columbus-based fiber-optic broadband provider, has acquired Consolidated Cooperative’s commercial fiber business, adding approximately 450 route miles of fiber and expanding Horizon’s Midwest footprint into Delaware, Marion and Richland counties. Consolidated Cooperative will retain its residential fiber internet services while Horizon will continue serving acquired commercial customers under existing contracts.

Archtop Fiber Acquires GTel (Germantown, NY)

Archtop Fiber has completed its acquisition of GTel, a family-owned, fiber-rich voice, video and Internet service provider based in Germantown, New York. The deal brings GTel's ~300 miles of fiber infrastructure, roughly 2,500 customers and a 17-person workforce into Archtop as the buyer expands its 100%-fiber, multi-gig broadband footprint across southern Columbia County and the Hudson Valley.

Horizon Acquires Infinity Fiber, LLC

Horizon (a Novacap-backed, Columbus, Ohio-based fiber operator) has acquired Infinity Fiber, LLC, adding roughly 450 route miles and expanding Horizon's footprint into Indiana. The deal augments Horizon's existing fiber infrastructure to provide direct connectivity between Chicago, South Bend and Indianapolis and to multiple Indiana data centers for carrier and enterprise customers.

Oak Hill Capital Acquires Otelco Inc.

Oak Hill Capital, through an entity formed by the firm, agreed to acquire Otelco Inc. for $11.75 per share (approximately $40.6 million equity purchase price) with an enterprise value of about $105.6 million. The deal, announced July 27, 2020, closed March 31, 2021; Oak Hill intends to accelerate Otelco’s fiber-to-the-premises deployment and combine Otelco with its fiber investments GoNetspeed and Lantek to expand fiber network capabilities and geographic reach.

GenNx360 Capital Partners Acquires Shenandoah Industrial Solutions

GenNx360 Capital Partners has invested in Shenandoah Industrial Solutions, a Pompano Beach, Florida-based provider of underground infrastructure services, acquiring the company from KLH Capital. The investment will support Shenandoah’s expansion of operations, service capabilities (pipe cleaning, inspection, and trenchless rehabilitation), and continued geographic growth across Florida and the Southeastern U.S.

HFA Holdings Acquires Skyetel (Skye Telecom, LLC)
