ICR, a strategic communications and advisory firm, has acquired Bullfrog + Baum, a New York–based consumer communications agency specializing in hospitality, lifestyle and travel. The acquisition expands ICR’s consumer lifestyle practice by adding creative and tactical services, and Bullfrog + Baum’s founder Jennifer Baum will join ICR as a partner.

Siris Acquires BearCom from Bertram Capital

Siris, a New York-based private equity firm, has agreed to acquire BearCom, a North American provider and integrator of wireless voice, video and data solutions, from Bertram Capital. The transaction is supported by financing from MCCP (led the financing) and private-credit provider Bow River Capital; Siris plans to invest to expand BearCom's video security, private mobile networks and DAS capabilities to accelerate organic and inorganic growth.

(CBI Telecommunications), a Grand Rapids, Michigan-based telecom expense management (TEMS) and managed services provider. The deal gives Saaswedo a strategic entry into the United States and combines complementary TEMS platforms and consulting capabilities to expand service offerings globally; terms were not disclosed.

The deal, announced Dec. 20, 2024, expands BearCom’s video surveillance and access control capabilities and is the company’s second acquisition since Siris’ 2023 investment.
