Airbus Helicopters Acquires 90% Stake in Eurocopter Kazakhstan Engineering

Airbus Helicopters increased its stake in Eurocopter Kazakhstan Engineering from 50% to 90%, taking majority control of the Kazakhstan-based helicopter assembly, sales and service joint venture. The Kazakh business has been renamed Airbus Helicopters Kazakhstan Engineering; financial terms were not disclosed and the deal strengthens Airbus's presence in Central Asia, particularly with government and emergency services customers.
