Clear Group (Clear Insurance Management), backed by PE partner ECI, has acquired Light & Legal Indemnity Solutions, a specialist broker for Rights of Light and legal indemnity insurance. The bolt-on adds Dean Perkin’s specialist team to Clear’s Rights of Light and Legal Indemnities capability to deepen the group’s property and construction insurance offering for developers, investors and other professionals.

Goldman Sachs Asset Management Acquires Clear Group from ECI Partners

Goldman Sachs Asset Management’s private equity business has agreed to acquire Chartered insurance broker Clear Group from ECI Partners, subject to regulatory approval. Clear Group, which has grown via 10 acquisitions under ECI and now employs over 600 people across 15 locations while handling over £330m of premiums, will be backed by Goldman Sachs to continue its M&A-driven scaling strategy.

ECI Partners Acquires Insurance Insider from Delinian

ECI will partner with Insurance Insider's management to accelerate growth, expand product capabilities and serve more customers in the UK and US; the deal is expected to complete before the end of 2024.
