The deals expand Clear's niche capabilities in property, pet and events insurance and build on its Brokerbility network as part of an ongoing acquisition-led growth strategy.

Goldman Sachs Asset Management’s private equity business has agreed to acquire Chartered insurance broker Clear Group from ECI Partners, subject to regulatory approval. Clear Group, which has grown via 10 acquisitions under ECI and now employs over 600 people across 15 locations while handling over £330m of premiums, will be backed by Goldman Sachs to continue its M&A-driven scaling strategy.
