Acerinox Acquires VDM Metals from Lindsay Goldberg

Spanish stainless-steel producer Acerinox, S.A. has acquired VDM Metals from private investment firm Lindsay Goldberg for €532 million. VDM Metals, headquartered in Werdohl, Germany, is a leading global producer of high-performance nickel alloys serving end markets including chemicals, aerospace, automotive and oil & gas; Acerinox said the acquisition strengthens its high-performance alloys capability within its portfolio.
