BBQGuys, the Baton Rouge–based e-commerce retailer owned by Brand Velocity Group, has acquired Mont Alpi, a premium manufacturer of modular outdoor kitchen islands and grills. The acquisition expands BBQGuys' portfolio of owned brands (joining Blaze and PCM), strengthens its turnkey outdoor kitchen capabilities, and aims to accelerate product innovation and go-to-market reach while keeping Mont Alpi's leadership and operations in place.

Ali Group Acquires Welbilt

Ali Holding S.r.l. (Ali Group) agreed to acquire Welbilt, Inc. in an all-cash transaction valuing Welbilt at $24.00 per share (about $3.5 billion equity value and $4.8 billion enterprise value). The deal, approved by both boards and supported by significant Welbilt shareholders, completed with Welbilt's common stock ceasing trading on July 28, 2022; the acquisition expands Ali Group's product portfolio and global foodservice equipment footprint.

Consolidated Equipment Group Acquires Agile Manufacturing Group

Consolidated Equipment Group (CEG), a portfolio company of Dominus Capital, has acquired Agile Manufacturing Group, LLC, a Granite, Iowa-based maker of agricultural, industrial and construction attachments marketed under the GrabTec and Miller Loader brands. The deal is an add-on to CEG's platform to broaden its product suite and expand into adjacent material-handling end markets; Agile founder Mike Feilmeier will remain in leadership as Vice President of Agile Products.

AgroLiquid Acquires Monty's Plant Food Company

AgroLiquid, a St. Johns, Michigan-based liquid fertilizer manufacturer, will acquire Louisville-based Monty's Plant Food Company effective Jan. 1, 2025. The deal combines AgroLiquid's liquid fertilizer technology and manufacturing scale with Monty's humic and soil-health expertise to broaden product capabilities and deliver new crop nutrition solutions while both brands continue to operate independently through the 2025 growing season.

Alta Equipment Group Acquires Ambrose Equipment

Alta Equipment Group Inc. has entered into a definitive agreement to acquire the assets of Ambrose Equipment, LLC, a family-owned equipment distributor and LeeBoy asphalt equipment dealer based in Hooksett, New Hampshire. The acquisition expands Alta's footprint to 39 locations across 10 states; Ambrose generated approximately $35 million of revenue and $3.1 million of adjusted EBITDA on a trailing-twelve-month basis. The asset purchase is expected to close before year-end, with terms to be disclosed upon closing.

The acquired assets include Alliance Group Technologies and The Vanguard System; operations will continue at the Warren facility and current employees were retained while The Daugherty Companies corporate entity remains in business providing Ag-Serv services.
