NetNordic (Norvestor-backed) Acquires IPCO

NetNordic, majority owned by Norvestor VII L.P., has signed an agreement to acquire IPCO, a Norwegian consulting firm that delivers tailor-made software solutions and digital services. The deal adds system development capacity (IPCO has more than 20 employees in Halden), strengthens NetNordic's delivery capability in Halden and Oslo, and supports growth of its network, security and communications services across the Nordics.

APA Corporation Acquires Callon Petroleum Company

APA Corporation agreed to acquire Callon Petroleum Company in an all-stock transaction valued at approximately $4.5 billion (including Callon's net debt). The deal combines APA's Midland-focused assets with Callon's Delaware-focused footprint to scale operations in the Permian Basin, is expected to be accretive to key metrics, and targets annual synergies exceeding $150 million.

Precision Drilling Corporation Acquires CWC Energy Services Corp.

Precision Drilling Corporation has entered into an agreement to acquire all issued and outstanding common shares of CWC Energy Services Corp. for approximately $141 million in total consideration (947,909 Precision shares valued at ~$88M, $14M cash, plus assumption of debt). The acquisition adds 62 marketed service rigs in Canada and 18 marketed drilling rigs (including 11 in the U.S.), and is expected to generate about $20 million of annual operating synergies while supporting Precision's deleveraging plan.

Canadian Overseas Petroleum Acquires Atomic Oil & Gas for $54M

Canadian Overseas Petroleum Limited (COPL) agreed to acquire Atomic Oil & Gas LLC for US$54 million in a mix of assumed debt, cash and COPL shares, with an effective date of December 1, 2020 and expected completion by January 31, 2021. The acquisition adds operated onshore oil assets in the Powder River Basin (Wyoming) — including two oil production units, associated midstream assets and ~31.1mm BOE (2P) reserves — materially expanding COPL's production, reserves and U.S. footprint.

ExxonMobil Acquires Denbury Inc.

Exxon Mobil Corporation completed its all‑stock acquisition of Denbury Inc. in a transaction valued at $4.9 billion, with Denbury shareholders receiving 0.84 shares of ExxonMobil per Denbury share. The deal adds Denbury's ~1,300 miles of CO2 pipelines, onshore sequestration sites and Gulf Coast/Rockies oil and gas operations (over 200 million boe of proved reserves and roughly 46,000–47,000 boe/d of production), strengthening ExxonMobil's Low Carbon Solutions and CCS capabilities.
