AE Industrial Partners (AEI) has acquired UAV Factory, a Riga, Latvia–based designer and manufacturer of small fixed‑wing tactical UAVs and ISR payloads, to form a standalone unmanned technology platform. Terms were not disclosed; UAV Factory — which also has a location in Bend, Oregon — has delivered more than 300 aircraft to customers in 55+ countries and will continue under existing leadership, with co‑founder Konstantin Popiks remaining in a senior role.

DC Capital Partners Acquires uAvionix Corporation

DC Capital Partners Management, LP has acquired uAvionix Corporation, a maker of small form-factor communications, navigation, and surveillance avionics for unmanned and manned aircraft. The private equity firm said it will support uAvionix in scaling operations, expanding product capabilities, and pursuing adjacent and defense markets globally.

Versa Integrity Group Acquires Avion Solutions' Commercial UAS Operations

Versa Integrity Group, a Dorilton Capital-backed industrial inspection services platform, has acquired the commercial Unmanned Aircraft Systems operations ("Avion Commercial") of Avion Solutions. Avion Commercial — based in Huntsville, Alabama — provides drone imagery, inspection, data collection, and training services; Avion Solutions will retain its government services business. The deal expands Versa's non-destructive testing and inspection capabilities by adding unmanned aerial inspection services.

AeroVironment Acquires Planck Aerosystems

AeroVironment, Inc. has acquired Planck Aerosystems, a San Diego-based developer of advanced unmanned aircraft navigation and autonomy solutions. The acquisition will accelerate AeroVironment's autonomy capabilities by integrating Planck's embedded Autonomous Control Engine (ACE) and other technologies into its medium unmanned aircraft systems (MUAS) business, expanding capability for operations from moving platforms and in GPS-denied environments.

UAV Factory (AE Industrial Partners) Acquires Jennings Aeronautics

UAV Factory, a portfolio company of private equity firm AE Industrial Partners, has acquired Jennings Aeronautics (JAI) and will combine JAI's SUAS capabilities with UAV Factory's tactical UAV and ISR platform. The deal expands AEI's unmanned and autonomous platform by adding JAI's engineering, manufacturing and autonomous flight-control expertise; terms were not disclosed.

UAS Drone Corp. Acquires Duke Robotics, Inc.

UAS Drone Corp. (OTC: USDR) completed its acquisition of Duke Robotics, Inc., with Duke Robotics becoming a wholly-owned subsidiary after a share exchange that issued Duke shareholders stock representing 71% of the post-transaction capitalization. The combined company will focus on Duke Robotics' military UAS technology (TIKAD) and Duke's management and board now hold key leadership positions in the combined business.
