Comcast Acquires Metrological Group BV

Comcast Corporation has acquired Rotterdam-based OTT middleware provider Metrological Group BV to strengthen its OTT video and app integration capabilities. Digital Capital Advisors served as exclusive financial advisor to Metrological and its shareholders; the deal brings Metrological's platform (which reaches over 40 million households) and team into Comcast to enhance aggregation and integration of third-party SVODs onto Comcast's X1 platform.
