VESTA Modular, a Kinderhook Industries-backed provider of modular space solutions, completed the acquisition of Dallas-based BD Modular, adding approximately 350 modular units and opening a Dallas branch. The deal (financial terms undisclosed) brings BD's employees into VESTA and supports VESTA's expansion across the Southwestern United States.

Greensboro, North Carolina–based modular technology company Vantem has acquired Lakeland, Georgia–based Affinity Building Systems, a regional modular home manufacturer serving the Southeast. The deal expands Vantem’s U.S. footprint as part of a strategy to establish 20 plants nationwide and will integrate Vantem’s energy-efficient, climate-resilient building technology into Affinity’s product portfolio.

Dunes Point Capital has acquired a controlling interest in Vanguard Packaging, which includes Vanguard Packaging, Inc., Advanced Logistics & Fulfillment, LLC, and Great Plains Packaging, Inc. Vanguard is a Kansas City–based designer and manufacturer of high-graphic corrugated displays, retail-ready and industrial packaging, and provides related assembly, logistics and fulfillment services; the company employs approximately 200 people. Debt financing for the transaction was provided by Twin Brook Capital Partners and Churchill Asset Management.

BlackRock Real Assets Acquires Vanguard Renewables from Vision Ridge Partners

A fund managed by BlackRock Real Assets has acquired Vanguard Renewables from Vision Ridge Partners. BlackRock will partner with Vanguard Renewables' management to scale the company's organics-to-renewable energy platform, supporting plans to commission more than 100 anaerobic digesters to produce renewable natural gas across the United States.
