OceanSight Acquires Sound Metrics

OceanSight announced the acquisition of Sound Metrics, a developer and manufacturer of high-resolution acoustic imaging sonar systems for underwater inspection, monitoring, and security. The deal is intended to strengthen OceanSight’s subsea sensing and imaging platform by adding acoustic imaging capabilities alongside Ocean Floor Geophysics and Neptune Sonar.
