The combined group will be incorporated in Sweden, operate across around ten countries, generate roughly EUR 3.8 billion (SEK 43.5 billion) in annual turnover and employ about 21,900 people; leadership will be drawn from both businesses with Assemblin CEO Mats Johansson as Group CEO.

The deal brings Hornbill's technical capabilities and blue-chip client relationships into OCU's platform as an add-on to support growth in critical energy security and Net Zero initiatives; shareholders (including SME Investment Partners) appointed advisers to run the sale.
