Bain Capital Private Equity to Acquire Harrington Process Solutions

Bain Capital Private Equity has entered into a definitive agreement to acquire Harrington Process Solutions (also known as Harrington Industrial Plastics) from Nautic Partners. Harrington, a Chino, California–headquartered specialty distributor of piping and fluid process products with more than 60 U.S. locations, will remain led by its current management team; the transaction is expected to close in Q4 2023 (terms not disclosed).

The deal—terms undisclosed—transfers ownership from longtime owners Barry Boyer and Jim Hoke to May River, which intends to use Marion as the first building block of a new materials processing solutions platform and to support the company’s growth under existing management.
