Ecolab has closed its previously announced acquisition of Ovivo’s electronics ultrapure water business, providing technologies for semiconductor manufacturing. The deal creates an end-to-end platform for circular water management for microelectronics and AI-related customers, while the acquired business will remain headquartered near Basel, Switzerland and use the Ovivo brand.

Evoqua Water Technologies Acquires EPICOR, Inc.

Evoqua Water Technologies completed the acquisition of EPICOR, Inc., a Linden, New Jersey-based manufacturer of powdered ion exchange resins and resin/fiber mixtures that serves the power industry. The purchase brings specialty resin manufacturing capabilities into Evoqua’s Integrated Solutions and Services segment to better support power-market customers; terms were not disclosed in the primary press release.
