Pearson Acquires Internet Testing Systems (ITS) to Expand Professional Assessment and AI Capabilities

Pearson acquired Internet Testing Systems (ITS), a Baltimore-based assessment technology company, to strengthen Pearson Professional Assessments and expand its assessment and verification capabilities. The acquisition adds technology for remote testing and proctoring, performance-based assessments, continuous certification, and AI-powered assessment, building on a commercial relationship dating back to 2009.
