Atlas Air Worldwide Acquires 49% Stake in Air Atlanta

Atlas Air Worldwide (via Titan Aviation Holdings) signed a Share Purchase Agreement to acquire a 49% minority stake in Iceland-based Air Atlanta, an ACMI and aircraft management provider with operating platforms in Iceland and Malta. Atlas will also acquire Air Atlanta-owned aircraft and lease them back to Air Atlanta for continued operations, while Air Atlanta management retains a 51% controlling interest.

Pan Am Flight Academy Acquires Alliance Aviation

Pegasus Airlines to Acquire Czech Airlines and Smartwings for €154 Million

AviAlliance Acquires AGS Airports from Macquarie and Ferrovial

AviAlliance has agreed to acquire AGS Airports from Macquarie Asset Management (via Macquarie European Infrastructure Fund 4) and Ferrovial for an enterprise value of approximately £1.53 billion. The transaction transfers ownership of the airports serving Aberdeen, Glasgow and Southampton, and is expected to reach financial close by Q1 2025 subject to customary conditions and regulatory approvals.

An affiliate of Platinum Equity completed the acquisition of Wesco Aircraft Holdings Inc. for approximately $1.9 billion and immediately combined Wesco with Platinum Equity portfolio company Pattonair. The combination creates a roughly $2.4 billion, global aerospace supply-chain and distribution business headquartered in Valencia, California, with operations across 17 countries and more than 4,000 employees to expand scale, product breadth and supply‑chain capabilities.
