The transaction brings AVI‑SPL into 26North’s private equity portfolio; Silver Point Capital Direct Lending led the debt financing and both sides were advised by legal and financial advisors.

ProA Capital Acquires 70% Stake in Avioparts

Spanish private equity firm ProA Capital has agreed to acquire roughly 70% of Avioparts, a distributor of aircraft components, lubricants and logistics solutions, in a deal that values the company at about €40 million. The transaction is structured as a share purchase plus a capital increase to support Avioparts’ organic and inorganic growth; founder David Fojon will remain CEO and a minority shareholder.

Westinghouse Acquires Laveer Engineering

The acquisition expands Westinghouse's CANDU capabilities—adding tooling, plant design and outage maintenance expertise—and strengthens its service offerings to CANDU reactor operators worldwide; the transaction is subject to customary closing conditions and regulatory approvals.

Trelleborg Group Acquires Aero-Plastics Inc.

Trelleborg Group, through its Trelleborg Sealing Solutions business area, has signed an agreement to acquire Aero-Plastics Inc., a Renton, Washington-based manufacturer of precision injection-molded and thermoformed high-performance polymer components for the aerospace interiors market. The acquisition — expected to close in Q2 2025 — expands Trelleborg's thermoplastics and interiors capabilities, adds capacity and customer relationships, and is intended to generate sales synergies within its aerospace offering.

AVI Systems Acquires Neurilink

AVI Systems, a global audiovisual systems integrator, has acquired Neurilink, a full-service audiovisual design and integration firm with offices in Boise, Idaho and Seattle. The deal (which brings Neurilink’s ~47 professional staff into AVI) expands AVI’s service footprint across the U.S. Northwest to better serve AV and unified collaboration needs in that region.

Fero International Inc. Acquires AVL Manufacturing Inc.

Fero International Inc. signed a letter of intent to acquire AVL Manufacturing Inc., a Hamilton, Ontario–based turnkey manufacturer of modular enclosures with a 30-year track record. The acquisition will secure AVL's manufacturing facilities and over 70 employees (including ~15 engineers) to help Fero scale production of its modular solutions; closing was anticipated in Q4 2021 subject to due diligence, financing and a definitive agreement.
