Take-Two Interactive Acquires Playdots

Take-Two Interactive has entered into a definitive agreement to acquire mobile games developer Playdots for $192 million, comprised of $90 million in cash and the remainder in newly issued Take-Two common stock. Playdots, a New York City–based studio known for Two Dots and other casual free-to-play titles, will remain led by CEO Nir Efrat and its ~70 employees following the closing, expected in Q3 2020.
