EnergyHub Acquires Resideo Grid Services

EnergyHub (an Alarm.com subsidiary) has acquired Resideo Technologies’ Grid Services demand response business, which will be integrated into EnergyHub’s Edge DERMS and VPP capabilities. Resideo divested the unit to focus on its core residential sensing and controls business; financial terms were not disclosed.

EnergyHub Acquires Finland-Based Kapacity.io

EnergyHub has acquired Kapacity.io, a Helsinki-based specialist in heat pump optimization and residential flexibility, to accelerate demand-side flexibility and expand virtual power plant (VPP) capabilities into Europe. Kapacity.io will continue partnering with electricity retailers, heat pump manufacturers and system operators while leveraging EnergyHub's DERMS expertise and resources; EnergyHub is an independent subsidiary of Alarm.com.

EnergyHub Acquires Packetized Energy

EnergyHub Acquires Bridge to Renewables (BTR)

EnergyHub announced the acquisition of Bridge to Renewables (BTR) to accelerate utility managed-charging programs by integrating BTR's telematics-based EV solutions and OEM integrations into EnergyHub's cross-DER VPP platform. BTR brings integrations with 12 EV OEMs and connectivity to more than 500,000 vehicles, enabling faster OEM participation in utility programs and more engaging driver experiences via embeddable apps.

Albireo Energy Acquires Environmental Energy Corp.

Albireo Energy, the building automation and energy services platform backed by Huron Capital, has acquired Environmental Energy Corp. (EEC), a Deer Park, New York–based energy management systems provider serving large commercial and higher education buildings. The deal is an add-on to Albireo's platform intended to expand its presence in the New York metropolitan market and broaden its building automation capabilities.
