PAI Partners Acquires European Camping Group

PAI Partners has completed the acquisition of European Camping Group (ECG) from Carlyle, Ontario Teachers' Pension Plan and Montefiore Investment. Headquartered in Aix-en-Provence, France, ECG operates over 22,000 units across more than 310 premium campsites in Europe; PAI says it will support ECG’s next phase of organic growth and M&A to reinforce its leadership in outdoor accommodation.

The Carlyle Group, through its Carlyle International Energy Partners fund, has agreed to acquire a portfolio of gas-weighted exploration and production (E&P) assets in Italy, Egypt and Croatia from Energean plc. The assets — which include interests in the Cassiopea field (Italy) and the Abu Qir hub (Egypt) — will form the basis of a standalone Mediterranean E&P platform subject to regulatory approvals.
