Guardian Capital Partners’ portfolio company Tactical Medical Solutions (TacMed) completed an add-on acquisition of TraumaFX Solutions, a developer and manufacturer of high-fidelity human and K-9 medical simulators, on June 7, 2019. The acquisition expands TacMed’s training and simulation capabilities for first responders, emergency medical professionals, and military customers worldwide.

CNL Strategic Capital Acquires Majority Stake in TacMed Solutions

TriMas Acquires Intertech Plastics

Henry Schein Acquires Majority Interest in TriMed, Inc.

Henry Schein, Inc. completed the acquisition of a majority interest in TriMed, Inc., a Santa Clarita, California–based developer of orthopedic implants and solutions for lower and upper extremities. TriMed reported approximately $52 million in 2023 net sales; the TriMed founders will remain with the business and financial terms were not disclosed. Henry Schein said the deal will broaden its surgical product offering to IDNs and ASCs and is expected to be neutral to 2024 non-GAAP EPS and accretive thereafter.

Thomas Scientific Acquires Arrowhead Forensics

Thomas Scientific completed the acquisition of Lenexa, Kansas-based Arrowhead Forensics on October 5, 2023. The deal expands Thomas Scientific’s product portfolio and Midwest distribution/kitting capabilities, and brings Arrowhead’s forensics expertise and customer relationships (particularly with law enforcement and government agencies) into Thomas’s offering.
