Phantom Space Acquires Micro Aerospace Solutions

Phantom Space Corporation, a Tucson-based space transportation and manufacturing company, has acquired Micro Aerospace Solutions (MAS), a Melbourne, Florida engineering and spacecraft hardware specialist. The acquisition bolsters Phantom's vertical integration across launch vehicles, satellites, and propulsion systems to accelerate mass-manufacturing and end-to-end spacecraft offerings.

RocketStar Acquires Miles Space

RocketStar announced it has acquired Miles Space and closed a $2.0 million seed financing that also converted $1.4 million of notes into Series Seed equity. The acquisition brings Miles Space's electric thruster and digital signal processing communications capabilities into RocketStar’s portfolio to accelerate development of fusion-enhanced propulsion, in-space communications, and launch offerings.

Rocket Lab USA, Inc. Acquires Planetary Systems Corporation

Rocket Lab USA, Inc. (Nasdaq: RKLB) completed the acquisition of Planetary Systems Corporation (PSC), a Maryland-based spacecraft separation systems and satellite dispenser manufacturer, for $42 million in cash plus 1,720,841 shares of common stock and a potential earnout of up to 956,023 additional shares. The deal (expected/closed in Q4 2021 per announcements) brings PSC's flight-proven separation hardware and its 25-person team into Rocket Lab's Space Systems division to expand Rocket Lab's end-to-end launch, spacecraft, and space-hardware capabilities.

PCX Aerosystems Acquires NuSpace

PCX Aerosystems, a Connecticut-based aerospace supplier owned by Greenbriar Equity Group, acquired NuSpace, Inc. on September 2, 2022 from Cornerstone Capital Holdings and members of NuSpace’s leadership team. NuSpace, based in Long Beach, California, designs and manufactures proprietary propellant and high‑pressure tanks for satellites, launch vehicles, spacecraft and missile platforms, expanding PCX’s flight‑critical capabilities in the space and defense markets.

Ascend Technologies Acquires Stratosphere Networks' Managed IT and Security Services Division

The acquisition will integrate Orbital Insight's TerraScope analytics platform with Privateer's Wayfinder data engine to provide combined sea-to-space intelligence and expanded capabilities for government and commercial customers.
