Phantom Space Corporation Acquires StratSpace

Phantom Space Corporation has acquired StratSpace, a 20-year space systems consultancy and satellite systems engineering firm, to expand Phantom's capabilities across satellite design, manufacturing support and space program management. The deal brings StratSpace's technical know-how and customer relationships (including NASA and major defense primes) into Phantom's vertically integrated offering of rockets, satellites and space data infrastructure.

Rocket Lab USA, Inc. (Nasdaq: RKLB) completed the acquisition of Planetary Systems Corporation (PSC), a Maryland-based spacecraft separation systems and satellite dispenser manufacturer, for $42 million in cash plus 1,720,841 shares of common stock and a potential earnout of up to 956,023 additional shares. The deal (expected/closed in Q4 2021 per announcements) brings PSC's flight-proven separation hardware and its 25-person team into Rocket Lab's Space Systems division to expand Rocket Lab's end-to-end launch, spacecraft, and space-hardware capabilities.

PCX Aerosystems, a Connecticut-based aerospace supplier owned by Greenbriar Equity Group, acquired NuSpace, Inc. on September 2, 2022 from Cornerstone Capital Holdings and members of NuSpace’s leadership team. NuSpace, based in Long Beach, California, designs and manufactures proprietary propellant and high‑pressure tanks for satellites, launch vehicles, spacecraft and missile platforms, expanding PCX’s flight‑critical capabilities in the space and defense markets.
